This co-ed league is open to all adults. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced pickleball player, there will be a place for you! Register now to participate in our Spring season and receive updates on the league.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the US and internationally. Whether you have never played and want to learn, or consider yourself an advanced player, come out and play with other M’kor Shalom and Temple Emanuel members this Spring!
How It’ll Work
We will have four courts, three open play courts and one challenge court where the winning team stays on. During the first three weeks we will have Kim Dunne in attendance to teach the rules to new players and give pointers to players looking to improve their game. Kim heads Pickleball at the Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club and was so popular with everyone who played during the Fall Season that we’ve invited her to join us again this Spring.
On June 5, we will hold the Kosher Pickleball Open Tournament that will include all players from both Sessions. Each player will partner with another play to form a team. Teams will self-select themselves based on skill level to join either the A Division or B Division. The winning team in each division will be awarded a prize. Rain date will be June 12.
On the final Sunday, we will hold open play across all courts for the first hour and then have a social with food, drinks and more prizes to celebrate the end of another fun season.
What to Expect
We will provide balls and have a limited number of paddles available for new players to use. Additionally, we will provide t-shirts for all players once league play starts. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in each division of the Kosher Pickleball Open Tournament.
To ensure your participation, please register early! Once all spots have been filled, a wait-list will be created in the event of cancellations.
